Cookies & display preferences

Cookie Policy

The cookies and browser storage used for Three Factor Security display preferences, and how to clear them.

What this website stores

Cookies are small values a website can ask your browser to retain. Local storage saves preferences on your device. This website uses the following storage for choices you make:

Full-site display preference
Selecting “View Full Site” sets a first-party cookie called tfs_view_mode with the value desktop. It remembers your display choice for up to one year. Selecting “View Mobile Site” deletes it. The cookie contains no contact information.
Accessibility preferences
Changing an accessibility control saves your text-size and display choices locally under tfsA11yPreferences. These preferences are not sent as form data. They remain until you select Reset in the accessibility controls or clear this website’s browser storage. Default settings do not create a saved preference.

Business tools and optional tracking

We use third-party business tools as described in the Privacy Policy. Analytics, measurement, communications, advertising, or embedded-content tools can process different information depending on the feature. These activities are separate from the display preferences listed above. Hosting and security services also process technical requests to deliver and protect the website.

The current website release does not load optional third-party tracking scripts or embedded widgets. If such features are added, we will update their disclosures and implement any required choice or consent before enabling them. General policy wording is not a visitor’s consent. External links lead to services with their own privacy and cookie practices.

Browser privacy signals

The older Do Not Track signal does not change this website’s behavior. Global Privacy Control is a separate signal used for sale or sharing opt-outs where applicable. Display preferences do not override a privacy choice. To ask about a tool, disclosure, or opt-out, use our privacy-request process.

Your choices

You can browse the site without choosing display preferences. Use the footer’s View Mobile Site control to clear the full-site preference. Use Reset in the accessibility controls to clear saved accessibility settings. Your browser can also block cookies or delete this site’s cookies and storage; saved display preferences may then stop working.

Changes and questions

If optional tracking is introduced, the policy and privacy controls must be updated before it is enabled. For information about submitted forms and privacy requests, see the Privacy Policy or call 866-615-3233.
